Content Policy

FunPhotoAI is for fun, friendly images: cartoon faces, avatars, filters and cards. This policy applies to every prompt you write, every photo you upload and every image you create or share. It is part of our Terms of Service.

AI models we use

• Images are generated with OpenAI GPT Image (gpt-image-2 and gpt-image-2.5), accessed through an API.
• Prompts, uploaded photos and generated images are screened with OpenAI GPT-5.6, used as a safety classifier.
• We don't train our own models, and your photos are never used to train AI models.
• FunPhotoAI is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.

Prohibited content

You may not use FunPhotoAI to create, upload or share:

• Sexual content or nudity: no pornographic, sexually explicit or suggestive images of anyone. Adult content is not allowed.
• Child sexual abuse material: any sexualised or exploitative depiction of minors. Zero tolerance; we report it to the authorities.
• Violence and gore: graphic injury, torture, glorification of violence or terrorism, or threats.
• Hate and harassment: content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, or that bullies or humiliates a real person.
• Deepfakes and impersonation: deceptive or compromising images of real people, including public figures; fake news, fake documents or IDs; and sexual or intimate images of real people whether or not they consent.
• Copyright and trademark infringement: copying protected characters, artwork, logos or brands, or uploading images you don't have the right to use.
• Other harmful or illegal content: self-harm, illegal drugs, weapons, fraud or scams.

Photos of real people

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you explicit permission.
• Photos of children may only be uploaded by their parent or legal guardian, and only for family-friendly creations.
• Don't present AI images of real people as real photos. Free images carry a visible FunPhotoAI watermark, and shared pages say the image was made with AI.

How we moderate content

Automated screening, every request. Before you see a result, your prompt and uploaded photos are checked by our safety classifier, the image model applies its own built-in safety system, and every generated image is checked again. If any check fails, the result is discarded and never shown or stored, and your credits are refunded.

Human review. Every blocked request is logged (the policy category, not the image) and reviewed by our team, together with every report we receive. We use these reviews to correct mistakes and tune our filters.

Ongoing checks. We regularly sample public share pages and remove anything that breaks this policy.

Repeat violations. Accounts with 3 or more blocked requests in 24 hours are automatically paused from generating.

Depending on severity, we take these actions:

• Critical (child safety, terrorism): content removed, account banned immediately, and reported to the relevant authorities such as NCMEC.
• Severe (sexual content, graphic violence, non-consensual deepfakes): content removed and account suspended.
• General (hate, harassment, impersonation, infringement): content removed and a warning issued; repeat offences lead to suspension.
• Minor (borderline content): a warning, and the content is removed or must be changed.

Report content

If you see something on FunPhotoAI that breaks this policy, or an image that uses your photo or likeness without permission, or infringes your rights, please tell us:

• Use the Report this image link on any shared image page, or the Report content link in the footer.
• Or email support@funphotoai.com with the subject "Report content". Include the link to the image and a short description of the problem.

What happens next:

• We acknowledge reports within 1 business day. Reports involving minors or imminent harm are handled first, and the content is taken down while we review.
• Each report is reviewed by a person. Content that breaks this policy is removed and the actions above are applied. We tell you the outcome.
• Your identity is kept confidential and is never shared with the person you report.
• Knowingly false or abusive reports are logged and may lead to action against the reporting account.

Appeals

If you think we blocked your content or restricted your account by mistake, email support@funphotoai.com with the subject "Appeal". A person will review your case and reply within 3 business days.
